Yes. For the safety of everyone involved, we are requiring guests to be vaccinated unless they are too young for the vaccine or are immunosuppressed. Of course! While we aren't requiring guests to wear masks at this time, we want everyone to feel comfortable and safe at our wedding, so please feel free to mask to your comfort level.
Due to venue restrictions, we are not able to give any "plus ones" to our guests. All invitees will be listed by name on the invitation. please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions.
The ceremony is outdoors in an enclosed tent. New England weather can be unpredictable, so consider bringing an outer layer just in case! The cocktail hour and reception are indoors in a climate-controlled environment.
Yes! There will be an open bar, so don't forget to book your hotel room in advance!
You can tell us about any dietary restrictions or allergies on your RSVP card, or you can email us directly to let us know. We will make sure the venue knows about all allergies and dietary restrictions in advance.
The Riverview does not have a kosher kitchen, and none of the food will be certified as kosher. However there are fish and vegetarian/vegan meal options, and none of the food contains any pork or shellfish. Additionally, the Rosemary Butter Seared Filet Mignon can be prepared without butter upon request with advance notice.
Parking at the venue is free.
Our ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM, so it's a good idea to arrive between 3:30 and 3:45.
We have secured a block of rooms at the Simsbury Inn for our guests to book at a discounted rate. The Simsbury Inn is a 2-minute drive or 6-minute walk from The Riverview, where our ceremony and reception will be held.
A before the ceremony and after the receiption, there will be a shuttle between the Riverview and the Simsbury Inn, so we highly encourage out-of-town guests, especially those without cars, to stay at the Inn.
